Saipan Computer Services, together with NikeGolf, has announced that they are donating over $10,000 worth of balls, bags, and golf accessories as giveaways and prizes for the upcoming Tournament of Champions to be held on Saturday and Sunday, August 1 and 2.

“It is an honor to be part of the TOC which supports important community projects and destination enhancements,” said Jerry Tiu, General Manager of Saipan Computer Services. “We are excited to celebrate the event’s 20th year!”

"In conjunction with the 20th TOC, we will be conducting a free demo and a free fitting of the latest and game changing golf equipment from NikeGolf. Please do not miss the chance to join us on Thursday and Friday, July 30 and 31 from 2-6pm at the LaoLao Bay Driving Range," said John Botelho, NikeGolf Rep assigned for the Micronesian Area.

“Year after year, Saipan Computer Services and NikeGolf have supported the Tournament of Champions with their generous contributions,” said Ben Babauta, tournament director. “We are extremely thankful for their longstanding commitment to the tournament and their partnership through all these years.”

The 20th Annual Tournament of Champions will be played at the LaoLao Bay Golf and Resort’s East & West Courses on August 1 and 2.  The two-day event is bigger and better than ever with exciting hole-in-one prizes and the chance to win thousands of dollars in possible prizes. The TOC tournament fee is $200.00.

Winners in the Men’s Championship, A, B, C, Senior and Super Senior Flights will each receive $500 cash, $400 cash, $300 cash, a digital camera, and $100 DFS gift certificate for the first to fifth place respectively. The Ladies Low Gross winners will receive $500, $400, and $300 cash for first to third place respectively. The first, second, and third place winners of the Ladies Low Net will each receive a trophy.

Hundreds of thousands worth of prizes will be at stake in the two-day tournament. Hole-in-one prizes include brand new vehicles donated by Atkins Kroll Toyota, Joeten Motors, Triple J Motors, and Club C, cash prizes from Pacifica Insurance and Club C, one year free golf pass from LaoLao Bay Golf & Resort, and airline tickets from Delta Airlines and Asiana Airlines.

The event will also be giving away $1,000 cash prize for the Closest-To-Pin competitions plus a 25-year-old bottle of Chivas Regal.

Since its inception, TOC has turned over over $700,000 to the Saipan Beautification Fund, which has gone directly to improvements like the tree-lined traffic medians that stretch from Garapan to the former Palm Resort Saipan, as well as the revitalization of the Garapan special district. In addition, TOC also contributed funds for the Paseo de Marianas, the lighting of the Saipan Beach Pathway, and most recently the beautification of the Port to Park pathway.
